Who we are

Caring for animals means caring for the communities around them.

Friends of Animals was founded with a quiet, persistent conviction: that street animals are not problems to be hidden, but fellow living beings sharing our neighbourhoods. Over the past 7–8 years, our work has focused on daily, on-the-ground support.

By partnering with neighbourhood residents, local feeders, and ethical veterinarians, we create sustainable safety nets. From wound dressings and daily feeding to careful adoption matching, every effort is grounded in empathy and accountability.

Our journey

Years of showing up.

Real animal welfare is built on quiet constancy — returning day after day to check on community animals, ensuring clean food, nursing the sick back to health, and building relationships with neighbourhood caretakers.

How community caretakers are reshaping neighborhood care

When local shop owners, residents, and animal advocates work hand-in-hand, street animals receive consistent nourishment, immediate attention, and peaceful coexistence.
